ORDINANCE
Upon R ornmendation of the City Solicitor.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Northa?npton, in City Council assembled, as
follows:
CHAPTER _ ....... J_
Chapter 44 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Northamp-
ton, as amended; is hereby declared to be and is hereby repealed,
and the following nErw chapter '44 is hereby inserted in place thereof,
Provided however. that such repeal shall not in any way affect the
the acceptance and adoption of any act of the Legislature :f , eretofore
lawfully accepted and adopted, and it shall not affect am? act done
any right accruing, accrued or established, or any proceedings,
doings or acts. ratified or confirmed, or arty sili_t or proceedi s
had or commenced before the repeal takes *`feet. but the proceedings
therein, shall when necessary, conform to the prov -sions of the raw
Chapter 44 set forth below, which brovisions inssfa.r as they are'
the same as those of the existing chapter, shall be construed as
a 6ontinuance thereof and not as nmi enactments, viz:
