At its special meeting on March 1, 2008, the Community Preservation Committee voted to
recommend CPA funding in the amount of $350,000 for the preservation of open space in the
Mineral Hills Conservation Area, Turkey Hill Road Addition.
In the committee’s judgment, this project, submitted by the Conservation Commission and
supported widely in the community, meets the CPC priorities for open space preservation
admirably. Further, the project leverages CPC funds in ways that achieve an effective and
efficient allocation.
Since this is a time-sensitive project, we urge that, with your support, it be forwarded to the City
Council as soon as possible.

project or about our procedures.
