42-079 (18) Pocket Wireless Letterl To: City of Northampton From: Brian J. Allen Agent for Pocket Wireless Re: SPMA0050 327 King Street, SPMA0051 22 Atwood Drive, SPMA0052 Westhampton Road, Northampton Landfill Dear Planning board, Pocket Wireless is looking to provide wireless phone service in and around the City of Northampton. Below is a quick summary of our plans • Pocket is a new provider in Northampton and as of yet we do not provide service • It is necessary for us to have a number of Wireless sites in the City to provide service. • It is Pocket's desired to co locate on existing towers in an around Northampton and to supplement that with rooftop installations. Currently we do not have plans to build additional towers in Northampton. • Pocket typically flush mounts its antennas directly to the towers as opposed to using triangular boom mounts, this minimalistic approach allows more carriers to use existing towers • The attached maps show our current plan of sites in and around the City of Northampton. It is our hope that we would be able to lease these facilities as well as obtain the necessary permits to install our equipment. Currently these are the only sites that are proposed for the area, we anticipate having acceptable coverage with the sites depicted. • We look forward to providing excellent coverage and customer service all who live, work and travel through the City of Northampton. For the purpose of this application we have provided the following: • A letter from CSquared Systems regarding our licenses and our compliance with FCC regulations as requested in section 350- 10.9.C.4 • Coverage Maps and network Maps as requested • Plans of the proposed modifications to the existing towers T y Bri .Allen ~~ ~ (~ [~ ,U' I1~- i~ KJK fireless _~,~ _...__.._____.___._._.___..._.L...
