22.130 AN ORDER TO CONTINUE REMOTE ACCESS FOR PUBLIC MEETINGS
Whereas,
An Amendment to the Senate budget has been filed by Senator Brownsberger extending the provision allowing remote meeting participation through December 2023.
Whereas,
Government access advocacy groups and others support continued virtual access to government processes after July 15, 2022.
Now therefore be it ordered that,
If a new law is passed extending the remote meeting provisions of the Governor’s March 12, 2020, Executive Order or the Open Meeting Law is otherwise amended to allow continued remote
participation, the Northampton City Council will continue meeting remotely until ___________________.
