Joint or Identical Pole Location No. 24881246-1
National Grid is proposing to relocate two (2) poles (#21 and #25) on King Street beginning at a
point approximately 34 feet northeast of the centerline of the intersection of King Street and
North Street and continuing approximately 230 feet in the northwest direction due to DOT
roadwork.
There are no conflicts with public utilities at the proposed location for #21.
There is a possibility of a conflict with the sewer at the proposed location of #25. The following
is required:
• Caution should be exercised while excavating at this location. The hole for the new pole
location shall be inspected by the DPW prior to actual pole installation. 24 hours notice to
the DPW is required by calling 413-587-1570.
• If the sewer is disturbed, it must be repaired./relocated by the Contractor at the direction
of the City Engineer.
National Grid must obtain an "Excavation/Trench Permit" issued by the City of Northampton
prior to construction.

National Grid is proposing to install one (1) pole (#28-50) and relocate three (3) poles (#28, #31,
and #33) on King Street beginning at a point approximately 67 feet southeast of the centerline of
the intersection of King Street and Carpenter Street and continuing approximately 391 feet in a
north direction due to DOT roadwork.
There are no conflicts with public utilities at the proposed locations of #28, #28-50, #33.
There is a possibility of a conflict with a water service at the proposed location of #31. The
following is required:
• Caution should be exercised while excavating at this location. The hole for the pole
location shall be inspected by the DPW prior to actual pole installation. 24 hours notice to
the DPW is required by calling 413-587-1570.
• If the water service is disturbed, it must be repaired/relocated by the Contractor at the
direction of the City Engineer.

National Grid is proposing to relocate three (3) poles (#26, #39, and #40) on King Street
beginning at a point approximately 178 feet southeast of the centerline of the intersection of
King Street and Hooker Avenue and continuing approximately 290 feet in a north direction due
to DOT roadwork.
There are no conflicts with public utilities at the proposed locations for #26, #39, and #40.
National Grid must obtain an "Excavation/Trench Permit' issued by the City of Northampton
prior to construction.

National Grid is proposing to relocate one (1) pole (#2) on Finn Street beginning at
approximately 138 feet southwest of the centerline of the intersection of King Street and Finn
Street due to DOT roadwork.
There are no conflicts with public utilities at the proposed location for #2.
National Grid must obtain an "Excavation/Trench Permit' issued by the City of Northampton
prior to construction.
