Upon the recommendation of Mayor David J. Narkewicz and Planning & Sustainability
21.375 An Order Authorizing a Five-Year Contract for Connecticut River Channel Marking
WHEREAS, Northampton coordinates a multi-community effort to maintain channel markers
on the Connecticut River for user safety, funded with contributions from multiple
communities and other entities;
WHEREAS, A five year contract is necessary for the vendor to invest in necessary equipment
and provides the best value to the City and its consortium;
Ordered, that
City Council authorizes the city, acting through its Office of Planning & Sustainability, to enter
into a five-year contract for channel marking services.
