RE: 351 Bridge Street
Dear Mr. Palacios-Leyton:
It has been brought to the attention of the Northampton Conservation Commission that fill
material and debris may be being brought to your property at 351 Bridge Street. The majority of
the property is located within the 100-year floodplain to the Connecticut River. Addition of fill
to lands subject to flooding is a violation of the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act and the
Northampton Wetlands Ordinance. These activities will be subject to enforcement actions,
including fines, if they continue.
Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns about the Wetlands Protection Act.
Please note that future construction or site work may require Conservation Commission review
and approval.
