On XXXX, building inspector Kevin Ross observed evidence of work in progress (dumpster with construction materials in the driveway). He told the workers to stop until they got a building
permit.
On 4/16/19 Matthew Hill submitted a building permit to convert he garage to bedrooms. We inspected the work area before we issued the permit. Work had begun. It did not meet code. We
issued the permit on 4/26/19 and the contractor corrected the code violations.
We inspected again on 5/2/19 and discovered that another contractor was working in another part of the house, building partition walls to create bedrooms, and renovating bathrooms. We
again told the workers to stop until they got a building permit.
