We will copy you on all documents. The earthquake design and anchor work will happen on all exterior brick walls as per Ryan's direction keeping floor loads as he has identified at 60 pounds for a "fixed seating" occupancy. I will create a permanently anchored wall plaque stating the occupancy of 40 persons at the main entrance for this floor load. This will be the same plan and need showing fire equipment and egress locations for the fire department. We have removed old plaster and plan new foil faced insulation behind the new finish wall. The front door will be rehabed with new hardware. Questions; -.c. .r,K 0 1. We need to repair rotted wood in the windows and trim on the street front. The plans say I J "exiting storefront to remain". We propose to photograph existing, to correct the drawing to be S dimensioned properly as it is existing. The new work follow this as documented in order to be the same after restoration. Can we do this now under this permit? The wait until other not related windo issues get resolved will hurt the project progress now behind schedule. 2. The building and restaurant owners are negotiating rental of another restaurant below in the existing restaurant space of Fire& Water soon to be closing. They question is that they would like to restore a stair for kitchen sharing efficiency that was removed in the front that used to connect the two levels in the past. Each restaurant space level will have its ADA entrance. They are offering to add a single unisex ADA bathroom in the preexisting non(100% ADA) conforming restaurant below. Can they do this stair connection, and do they have to do the single or double ADA bathroom? Thank you for your response as soon as it is feasible for you to do so. If you have questions please call me. Sincerely, Tris Metcalfe Mass. Reg#5393
