To whom it may concern,
Please see my attached zoning application for an addition at 198 Nonotuck St. Florence. The
client came to me looking to add addition living space on the 1'st floor and an additional
bedroom on the 2nd floor for their growing family. After exploring various locations for the
addition the only solution we found viable was an addition off the rear. The existing right side of
the house is non conforming to the current zoning by laws and the odd lot shape has created
many challenges. The left side of the house was not an option as that is where the clients
driveway is and the right side of the house is already close to the lot line. In order to create a
hallway that can service the new 2nd floor bedroom we needed the exterior wall of the addition to
follow the same plane as the existing exterior wall. Since the house and lot line are not parallel
this will mean that the addition will be closer to the lot line than the existing house is. Please
