Dear Mr. Degray:
At its meeting of November 1, 2021, the Northampton Historical Commission reviewed the
project description and information provided for the reconstruction of Main Street (Route 9)
from Main Street at Elm St / West Street to Bridge St Market Street / Hawley Street . The
Commission voted unanimously that the since the street contour will not be changing, and the
overall historic character of the downtown national register district is not being affected, the
project will not have a negative impact on any historic resources located in the area.
