Zoning Designation and Compliance
Dear Mr. Patillo:
I am in receipt of your fax dated March 20, 2001, whereby you sent me a Zoning Permit
Application. Please be advised that in connection with the acquisition of the above-referenced
property (the "Property") by THCI MT, LLC (the "Buyer") from MEDITRUST HEALTHCARE
CORPORATION and MEDITRUST MORTGAGE INVESTMENTS, INC. (collectively the
"Sellers"), my client, the Buyer, is not seeking a zoning permit for the Property, but would like to
confirm that the existing use of the Property is a permitted use under the City of Northampton
zoning laws. If possible, please complete the enclosed zoning designation letter and then have it
sent to my attention as soon as possible. Please also forward a copy of any special permits, if any,
that have been issued related to the Property. I thank you in advance for your assistance with this
matter.
