Gentlemen:
We are pleased to offer our quotation in the amount of Nineteen Thousand Two Hundred
Twenty Five Dollars ($19,225.00) to furnish and install an automatic fire sprinkler system at the
above referenced project based on starting at a flushed and tested 6" flanged outlet left by others
inside the building.
Our price is based on plans as prepared by Metcalfe Associates dated 2-9-10, Nos. A1-A3.
Our price includes sprinkler drawings & preparation of fire protection sprinkler documents in
accordance with 901.2.1 Eighth Edition of the Massachusetts State Building Code, Massachusetts
State sales tax, concealed pipe with white or chrome recessed pendent sprinklers in areas with
suspended ceilings, exposed pipe with brass upright sprinklers in all other areas, backflow
preventer, control valves, flow switch, inspector's test connection, wet sprinkler system, design
for NFPA 13 and all necessary pipe, valves and fittings.
Adequate heat must be provided in all areas of the building.
We have excluded exterior piping, sprinkler protection on the third floor and in the third floor
crawl space, painting of pipe, wiring, alarm systems, fire extinguishers, the premium portion of
overtime labor and special protection other than wet pipe sprinkler protection.
