Hi Louis
Our site visit Friday was good in clarifying details to be done which I give my approval to below.
Gene will be removing the beams and anchoring the standing posts and beams on the walls only by using drilled
epoxied anchors. Then a wood block will tie all remaining horizontal and vertical wood timbers together at the 5
open locations with the one beam cut off to remain anchored by the gwb and wood covering it.
I dont know whether the recent news will interrupt this work but I do hope our civilization’s laws will become more
logical someday.
Sincerely,
Tris Metcalfe

Tris,
Arron Kater has a contractor ready to take out the posts on the stage at 48 Main Street. I'm not
sure if it is OK to remove the horizontal beam as well as the posts. I've attached a copy of your
letter. The contractor wants to get started tomorrow. Let me know what you think. Thanks.
