al alterations that will be made is 1) to replace one fire damaged outlet from the attic
that I noticed in the kitchen while removing the light bulb. Once I learned about the previous attic fire,
it's replacement is a big safety concern. 2)to move the 220 for the stove over to the adjacent wall as per
the included kitchen design plans. (under floor, not opening up wall) Other than that there we are just
replacing fixtures/switches with new/updated GFCI outlets throughout the house. And any electrical
that was in the old structure wall that Mike Phillips removed will go back into the new kitchen island in
approx. the same location. I am not planning on adding any extra outlets or circuits or doing any panel
work...
In the bathroom, no plumbing or electrical is going to be moved. We are just replacing the bathtub,
faucets, vanity, wall sconces with new item and retiling Bathroom, Hallway and Kitchen
The basement is going to be finished and made into a living room/den/rec room in the next 1-2 years.
Since there was mold/mildew on the sheetrock around the door,we removed it because we felt it would
be hazardous for our 10 Month old. We wanted to wait a full seasonal year to assess how dry the
basement actually is before continuing with any renovations.
