Luning Board of Appeal of the laity of Northampton voted unanimously to grant a Variance request of Alan Hankowski, 21 Goldenrod Circle, Amherst, , Massachusetts to construct a single family dwelling on the westerly side of Marian Street, Northampton Present and voting were: Acting Chairman Peter Laband, Kathleen M. Sheehan and Charles Maguire.. The findings were as follows: P. Laband, referring to requirements necessary to grant a Variance, found that the lot is unique in that it is a large parcel, irregularly shaped; that the use will not affect zoning in the district where it ib located; that a literal enforcement would involve a substantial hardship as the eight acres would have no other use if not developed along the lines; that the use will riot derogate from the intent of the Ordinanc as the RR zone will be kept as such. K. Sheehan concurred. C. Maguire concurred. The following condition shall apply: That the conjoint lots totally 84 acres be used and shall remain as one lot for a single family dwelling.
