The Zoning Board granted the special permit for the 171 square foot front wall sign based upon the information submitted with the
application.
The Board of Appeals determined the application met the standards in 350-7:
(1) Signs are located only where they are otherwise permitted in the district; and
(2) The Board of Appeals determined that the the location of the building, its orientation and setback from North King St and I-91 is such
that a larger size would not detract from the character of the neighborhood and should be permitted in the public interest.
(3) The Board of Appeals specified in the permit the exact sign permitted as submitted (171 sf).
