I am sorry that we have added to your confusion, How- ever, it does appear that partitions of steel and wooden etude were installed in the building on 34 Bridge Street without a permit. This is clearly a violation of Chapter 802, and all work must cease until the proper permits are filed. When and by whom this work was done, we do not know. I cannot understand how the owners of this building would not have been informed of any construction within their own property. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact this office. Very truly yours, Cecil I. I never authorized anyone to do any work at this location ; in fact, we are negotiating for a possible tenant whose requirements have not yet been totally submitted and it is confusing why anyone would start work without any agreement. I have learned this morning that one man moved some equipment into the store , but he denies he has done any work. Would you kindly enlighten me as to what this is all about since I am totally mind- ful of the general requirements of building codes and licenses , etc . Thank you for your kind cooperation.
