This to confirm our conversation yesterday, August 4th, in which I requested an inspection
of my apartment for the following issues. windows that will not open and/or stay open
and the electrical outlets near water
I was told that your inspector was out this week and would call next week to set up an
appointment. You also noted that the electrical issue might be under the jurisdiction of
the Codes Department Should I call them to also set up an appointment?
Thank you for your assistance and I will expect a call from the inspector next week.

Dear Mr. Kochan;
I am writing to you regarding the August 11, 1999, inspection you conducted at my place
of residence, 189 North Main Street, Florence,MA., 2nd Floor.
Hampshire Property Management, which is under contract with the landlord, Chris Dobbs,
did a site evaluation on Oct. 5'" and sent a worker to rectify the stated problems.
To date there has been no work started on the roof or the chimney where water has gotten
in and left stains on the bedroom ceiling(this occurred after your inspection). The
worker did do some window work but did not address all of the cited violations. I
received a letter form Peter McErlain,Health Agent, which I enclose for your records.
Although this letter is to Pat Taylor of Hampshire Property Management, it appears only
to discuss the specifics of the State Sanitary
makes no mention or corrections to the orig nal findings

Based upon the discrepancy between the cited violations and what has been corrected to
date, I request a follow up inspection by you,to assess the existing conditions.
Please give me a call and/or leave some times on the answering machine that are good for
you and I'll get right back to you.
