I wanted to get you something. I know that Isaiah has failed to show for the re-inspection and no other is planned until or if,Isaiah communicates with you. We have put put up a new front door with screen though Isaiah 1 am told does not have the screen in place. This was done by Handyman Hank at the request of Sunset Property Management. A driveby will confirm this installation. I have requested dots but have not received yet from Sunset. We have replaceithe whole roof including flashing and hired a pest control pro through the roofer, Roberts Roofing to inspect the supposed flies in the kitchen wall. Doc included herein We have had Richard's Plumbing replace and repair the small plumbing gear that might have been leaking down into the cellar. If you want docs for this I can get it. We have repaired the electrical problems,done by licensed electrician Matthew Me Farland. His bill copy is attached. At the writing of this letter the back exterior door way is supposed to have a second handrail and the lock working properly. I have requested docs for this work. The Following Violations were noted: The Northampton Board of Health is acting under the authority of MASSACHUSETTS GENERAL LAWS,105 CMR 410.000: State Sanitary Code Chapter II: Minimum Standards for Human Habitation. You are hereby ordered to make a good faith effort to comply with the formal order issued to you above within the time frame listed. Failure to do so could result in legal action taken against you to pursue compliance with this order, Code Number Violation Date of Correction Comments 410.255:Amperage While running more than one appliance In the kitchen the electricity shuts off. By 7/29/10 have electrician assess problem.Correct by 8/6/10. If determined e, amperage must meet Massachusetts Electrical Code 410.480: Locks Back door lock not working properly. 7/29/10 The back door locking i mechanism gets stuck. 410.503: Protective Only one handrail on back door steps 'et-t, 7/29/10 Handrails are required on all open sides of stairs Railings and Walls 410.552:Screens for Front door has no screen 7/29/10 Door needs to have a self-closing mechanism. Screens need to be in place from 4/1 through 10/30 each year. Doors 410.500: Owner's Responsibility to Maintain Room at top of second floor stairs has exposed wiring. 8/6/10 Walls should be repaired so that wiring not exposed and surfaces easily cleanable Structural Elements 417/500:Owners Responsibility to Maintain Structural Elements Ba errant comer foundation wal+has evidence of mold/chronic dampness 8/6/10 By correction date submit letter from contractor with assessment of any chronic leaking in that area.
