RE:Septic System Repair Design, Local Variance Required
Sheldon Property, Map 42 Block 45 Parcel 1 653 Westhampton Road
Dear Mr. McErlain:
A variance from the local Sanitary/Septic Bylaw is requested for the abovementioned
septic system. Specifically, a waiver to the City required design for a garbage disposal is
requested. A deed demarcation for this limitation can be made if needed.
This request is prompted by space limitations on the lot(25,000 SF).
As such, It is my opinion that given all the possible scenarios for a new disposal system,
this best meets the intent of the Sanitary Code (310 CMR 15.00). It is our opinion that
strict enforcement of the local code would do manifest injustice and that the same
degree of environmental protection is achieved here in Please see the proposed plans
attached (3 copies), permit forms and appropriate fees and
