Dear Louis,
This is a report on progress to date;
We have completed most of the structural repairs we found in existing and new frame
modifications. We still need to support the new load on the east rear roof where a living room is
enlarged to meet code minimum area. It also extends support to the existing stair addition there,
which has sagged probably due to under design.
The list of repair work below the roof attic work zone previously mentioned is as follows;
Installation of microlam beams to add support to existing and new floor structure at the 2nd
and 3 rd floors. Based as specified in April thru May.
UNIT #3; 2 12x 14ft LVL for floor frame
UNIT #5 & UNIT #4; 1- 6X 14ft for new stairs to carry 3rd flr load off 2nd floor into
bearing
UNIT #2;2-9"x 22ft to support floor joists direction change
UNIT #1; I- 9"x 20ft to support attic floor
I- 9"x 14ft to support 3rd floor
Re-hang all floor joists that change directions and have missing connections on both 2nd & 3
rd floors.
The foundation to the new entry enclosure tower at existing stairway for the residences is
now back filled.
We are redesigning the main entry vestibule to allow for unforeseen foundation and steel plus
brick plus wood supports causing wheelchair lift reorientation, We will submit drawings once they
are resolved for construction.
