BOARD OF HEALTH JOHN T. JOYCE,Chairman PETER C. KENNY M D PNONMCSIKIKNYELOMEELEZIRCK PETER J. McERLAIN, Health Agent Michael R. Parsons November 27, 1984. Frank Anciporch 104 Damon Road Northampton, MA 01060 CITY OF NORTHAMPTON MASSACHUSETTS OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF HEALTH 210 MAIN STREET 01060 (413)586-6950 Ext.213 Re: Lack of annroved septic system, Dear Mr. Ancinorch: mobile home, rear of 604 Fridge Rd. At the request of City Building Inspector, Ted Tewhill an inspection of your property at the rear of 606 Bridge Road (Map 17B, Lot 2) was made on November 26, 1984 by a representative of the Northampton Board of Health. The in- snection revealed that a mobile home has been installed on the left side of the driveway and is apparently being occupied as a dwelling. Such a use would violate the following regulations: 310 CMR 15.00, Title 5 of the State Fnvir- onmental Code and 105 CMR 410.00, Chapter TT of the State Sanitary Code because the Board of Health has no record of an approved sewage disposal system ever being installed and/or connected to that mobile home. Tn addition, the installation and use of a mobile home without Zoning/Building Inspector approval violates other City and State regulations. Under authority of 310 CMR 15.00 and 105 CAR 410.00, you are hereby ordered to immediately cease the occupancy of the mobile home as a dwelling until: 1 . you have obtained approval from the City Toning/Building Inspector for the installation and occupancy of the mobile home, and 2. you have obtained a sewage disnosal works construction permit* from the Board of Health and have installed an approved septic system. If you have any questions concerning this matter, please contact the Northampton Board of Health office. Very truly yours, Peter J. Violation Mass. State Building Code Article 1, Section 113 h Section 114 In regards to this accusation, the so called garage is in fact the Sams repair page 2 shop aforementioned in article 2 of this letter. The fact being that said garage was moved along with the Quonset Hut from Damon Rd. in,I believe, 1973 when both were moved to make way for the now called River Hun Apt., Aa for the undercarriage of the roof on the garage being new, that is correct, The reason for this being that in, 1 believe, 1981-82 the Quonset hut, which had been originally placed on cement blocks, partially collapsed, taking part of the garage roof with it as well. When we repaired the quonset hut, placing it this time on a wooden frame and reinforcing the top with wood planks as well, we also repaired the roof to the garage, The only other changes that we have made on the garage was to put doors on the front in order to close it in against the elements when repairing my vehiclsa. If you would like to inspect the repels°, my son will be glad to show you. I hope that this letter will clarify any questions that you may still have and will help to resolve any accusations that have been made. If you have any further questions at all please direct them to my son Stephen Laizer, tel.ff 586-6672 as well as any further correspondence, for he will be able answer them for me, and if not he will be able to contact me if need be. 1 will be returning to this area by the middle of September and will contact you if need be myself upon my return.
