The First Hispanic Church, "Fuente De Salvacion Inc" , of
Northampton was founded in 1984. Yolanda Santiago, Pastor, and her
husband Francisco Santiago, along with her mother established this
church in the city of Northampton.
It is a Pentecostal church that holds worship services in
Spanish. Whenever the need we will translate our services into
English. Our services are held three nights on weekdays, and
Sunday school with worship service on Sunday afternoon.
The order of our services are as folloT:s; singing, bible
reading, testimony and preaching. We hold social services for
the youth, adults , and childrep. We preach against drugs , alcohol
and moral sins , such as adultery and stealing. Counseling and
home visits are made to the ones in need. Other services to the
community include translating at doctor ' s, hospitals , courts etc.
Offerings are given to people in need. Clothes and food is often
collected also.
At this time we are asking for a special permit. We have
rented the space that used to be an old firehouse and wish to use
it as a sanctuary to hold our Worship services there . The first
floor we will use as the sanctuary, with the pulpit and chairs .
The second floor we will use for bible school with chairs . On
that second floor there is a bothroom, a staircase connects the
first and second floor . The first floor will be the space that
will be used more often.
Since our congregation has approximately twenty to twenty-five
members , three cars among us , it will be of no problem to park
inside of the building lot . We will enter through the right hand
side of the building and exit through there also. We will have
one lighted sign up which will be nailed in the front wall 6f
the building. Well lighted exit signs will be placed in all three
exits that the building has .

We hope to be of a blessing to the city of Northampton and
to the neighbors that surround the building which we wish to own
in a near future, but for now we Will be renting. We are open to
suggestions or comments and appreciate all the help and consideration
given to this matter .
