HYDROSTATIC: Hydrostatic tests shall be made at not less than 200 psi(13.6 bars)for two hours or 50 psi(3.4 bars)above static
pressure in excess of 150 psi(10.2 bars)for two hours. Differential dry-pipe valve clappers shall be left open during test to prevent
damage. All aboveground piping leakage shall be stopped.
TEST FLUSHING: Flow the required rate until water is clear as indicated by no collection of foreign material in burlap bags at outlets such as

Auditorium Renovation project. As you know. the temporary Certificate of Occupancy for the Stoddard Hall
has been unable at complete the exterior general contractor, FW
requested a Temporary porch/entry on the south elevation'Of the building.gan Inc. Of Worcester,y MA.

classes. FW Madigan assures me that the porch/entry will be completed no later than September y have

I have reviewed this situation relative to the building code. Building occupants will still have tw
routes of egress through the north entry/exit and through use u a preexisting fire escape on the east
the building. The auditorium itself which contributes the most occupants to the building two separate

the upper level egress through the fire escape. by far, has two
