TIME BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS
The undersigned respectfully petitions your honorable body for
permission to set up scaffolding in front of Central Chambers on Center Street
to install a marquee beginning June 2, 1993 for approximately 3 days from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In accordance with Code of Ordinapce Section 19-11, the
applicant agrees to make arranaemtnts satisfactory to the
Northampton Chief of Police to place any and all barricades,
ropes signs and lights necessary to protect pedestrians, drivers
and persons from accident and harm. The applicant also agrees
to hold the City of Northampton acid its Departments and Officers
harmless from any and all liability arising from damage or suit
brought as a result of this permit The applicant hereby further
agrees to clean and restore the rRadwny and sidewalk to its
original or better condition prior to the start of work. A
minimum of 4 feet of sidewalk must be maintained free of
obstruction at all times for pedeotrians to pass. Provisions for
clean-up must be approved prior td issuance of permit. This
permit shall be available at the Xecruested location for
inspection durin the time eriod ' exercise to arr enforcing
officer of the City.
