Date: January 1, 2016 Project: 140 Riverbank Road Restoration Northampton, MA DEP Number # 246-0687 NEE Project Number – 15-4680 RE: Weekly Monitoring Report Week Ending 1/1/2016 The following activities where completed this week for 140 Riverbank Road. MONDAY DECEMBER 28, 2015 Scapes Building and Excavation (Scapes) continued constructing the pre-fabricated retaining wall at the top of the slope as well as re grading the lawn area between the wall and main house. At the end of the day the site was stabilized and covered with tarps in preparation of the forecasted snow overnight. www.neeinc.com 2 (Photo wall construction at top of slope) (Photo wall construction at top of slope and tarps covering remaining area for easy snow removal) TUESDAY DECEMBER 29, 2015 Scapes did not work on site because of the snow that had fallen over night. www.neeinc.com 3 WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 30, 2015 Scapes removed the tarps and continued constructing the pre-fabricated retaining wall at the top of the slope as well as re grading the lawn area between the wall and main house. FRIDAY DECEMBER 1, 2016 No work was done at the site today in observation of the New Years Holiday. ANTICIPATED TASKS FOR THE WEEK ENDING 1/8/2016 a. Installation of erosion control barriers and erosion control blankets as needed at the upper slope area. b. Removal of Turbidity curtain. c. Regrade and stabilize top of slope and construction access. Project will be shut down for the winter by the end of the week. Finish touch up work, minor grading, reseeding, planting, staircase construction and installation of docks will be completed in the spring after the snow melts.
