The following sequence of construction activities will be used in the management of this project to ensure that erosion during construction will be minimized and to prevent migration
of silt and other materials off of the construction site.
Remove existing driveway and construct new driveway/service entrance with track off pad
Repair/ replace compromised silt fence along Easterly and Southerly property boundaries.
Install and stake hay bales along silt fence in areas shown on the attached marked up site grading plan
Remove remaining paved driveway
Construct new driveway entrance with tracking pad as shown on the attached marked up site grading plan
Construct temporary sedimentation basin with outlet structure and intercepting swale along left side property line directing drainage to the temporary basin
Excavate, construct and backfill rear building foundation
Excavate, construct and backfill front building foundation and garage foundation
Rough grade sight to contours on grading plan, make sure grading directs all run off to temporary sedimentation basin
Install drainage structures including Catch Basin 1 and 2 with outlet pipe discharging into the temporary sedimentation basin
Proceed with building construction
In the Spring, touch up grading, remove temporary sedimentation basin outlet structure, install rain garden outlet structure, fine grade rain garden
Spread topsoil on all disturbed areas, install lawn and other plantings
Stabilize all slopes with straw, jute fabric or other means to prevent erosion of top soil
