Dear George,
Enclosed for your review are sketches of"Welcome to Florence Center" signs
that Florence Savings would like to construct and install to replace the existing
"Welcome to Florence Center" signs in need of replacement, situated at Trinity Row Park
and the George Maine Fountain Park in Florence.
In addition to updating the signage, we would also like to improve the
landscaping around the signage. I have enclosed a proposed planting scheme designed by
Professor Nick Dines. It is our intent to provide the planting and ongoing maintenance of
the plant beds.
The proposed signs would be 2' x 10' carved mahogany with gold leaf lettering
on a red wood background. The"Maintained by Florence Savings Bank"plaque would
be cast bronze, 20"x 5.5,"with gold lettering on black.
As the spring planting season is nearing, we would like to proceed with this
project. I need your assistance to understand how we move forward with this project.
We are not looking for a big public relations splash, instead would prefer to move
forward and install the signs and plantings.
