E1. Provide a new service to the taxi building next door. Provide new underground
feeder to the existing 100A panel in the taxi building. The size shall be (1) #3
conductor per phase and #3 neutral in 1-1/4" schedule 40 PVC. Verify
requirements with the utility company. Two meters exist on the exterior wall. One
shall be for the rooming house, and the other shall be for the taxi building.

This addendum shall supplement, amend, and become an integral part of the Contract
Documents. Contractor shall acknowledge all addenda on the bid form in the space
provided. It is the Contractor's responsibility to verify the number of addenda
issued and to distribute said addenda to all interested parties. All bids shall
reflect the changes and modifications indicated in these addenda.
Please make the following modifications as follows:
Al. Please note: the Architect will not be available for questions on Monday,
April 6 during the day. Contractors who wish to do so may leave a message on the
answering machine with phone number where they can be reached on Monday evening.
A2. In bathrooms and kitchen, install moisture-resistant gypsum wallboard on walls
and ceiling, rather than standard gypsum wallboard indicated.
A3. After removal of plaster on exterior walls, provide temporary 2x4 diagonal
bracing at building corners and abutting partition corners on exterior walls.
A4. On sheet A-1, at ramp details 1 and 2, widen both ramp sections by twelve
inches.
A5. As per Addendum #1, all interior doors are to be solid core birch veneer wood
doors, in lieu of doors specified. In specification section Wood Doors 08211,
delete references to hollow core doors with hardboard faces.
A6. In section Door Hardware 08710, revise door hinges on page 10 to be: Stanley
FBB 179, 3 1/2", full-mortise.
A7. In section 01500, page 1, SUBMITTALS, Temporary Utilities: delete portion of
sentence: "tests, inspections".
A8. In section 01500, page 1, SUMMARY, under Temporary Construction delete
"Dewatering facilities and drains. "
A9. In section 01500, page 5, Water Service, delete "Sterilization: Sterilize
temporary water piping prior to use. "
A10. In section 01500, page 8: delete paragraph "Permanent Fire Protection" and
following paragraph.
