Dear Owner:
On June 29, 1994 a visit was made to your below described property for
the .purpose of conducting an electrical inspection pursuant to an outstanding
electrical permit. During this inspection certain hazard(s) were observed which
were unrelated to the work being done under this permit. This observation was
incidental to the inspection which occasioned the visit, and should in no way be
construed as a comprehensive list of hazards which may or may not be present.
Rule 3 of the Massachusetts Electrical Code generally relieves the electrical con-
tractor of the responsibility for correcting previously existing violations.
Rule 4 of the Massachusetts Electrical Code obligates the Inspector of ,Wires to
notify the owner of the property where an actual hazard exists.
