Hi Sarah,
I just wanted to add my support for the proposal
to use CPA funds to help realize the current Pulaski park proposal. I would not have felt the same about earlier proposals for the park because they didn't address the important issues
of opening a practical and scenic "corridor" to the Round House lot and the Mill River. I worked with a group that explored converting the Round House into a multi use art facility and
we envisioned actually backing a garage into the hillside which would clear the Round House lot of cars and also create a series of landscaped landings climbing the embankment to main
street. I would still love to see this concept actually studied seriously, but what is proposed will be a great addition for the City on many levels and seems completely worthy of CPA
support. Hope it happens.
