ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
The 'Zoning Board of Appeals for the City of Northampton net
on ,January 3 , 1983 and voted unanimously to grant the petiti,)r
()f --Mitchell and Helen Jasinski for a special permit to convert a
_ injl family home at 137 North Male Street- into two units ,
Based upon the evidence presented to the Board, the Boarc:
made the following findings in regard to the special permit :
1 . The proposed use is listed in the Table of Use
Regulations .
2 . The proposed use hears a positive relationship to
the public convenience or welfare in that additional
housing will be provided .
3 . The proposed use is not likely to create undue
traffic congestion since there is adequate parking
and turn around space on the lot .
4 . The proposed use will not overload the public sys-
tems since the area is already served by those
systems , and one or more dwelling units will not
over extend these municipal systems .
5 . The proposed use will be compatible with other
homes in the area and will not impair the character
or integrity of the neighborhood.
