Anthony Pahllo, Building Commissioner
Department of Building Inspections
City of Northampton
212 Main Street
Northampton, MA. 01060
Dear Tony:
l am writing to you, responding to a copy of a letter you received that was
written by Mr. Kaye, concerning our new parking lot in Florence. l wou/d like to
address Mr. Kaye's letter as well as to update you on our parking lot project.
After receiving a copy of Mr. Kaye's letter, l had our attorney, Tom Growhoski,
conduct a site review to ascertain the status of the project. Based on that
review, it has been determined that some of the items on the list were in fact
already completed. A copy of Mr. Growhoski's letter outlining the remaining
issues and a schedule of the remaining work is enclosed and has been sent to
the building inspector's office.
One point that/ want to make clear is that contrary to Mr. Kaye's assertion,
neither /, or to my knowledge any member of the bank staff, has been
contacted regarding his concerns about the project
Furthermore, we have received nothing but praise from our neighbors and
abutters for the work we have done, not only on the new parking lot but on our
entire grounds in Florence.
As a local bank, our record of community service and our commitment to being
a positive force in the community is well documented. /assure you that we will
complete the project with all due speed.
Please don't hesitate to contact me personally if you have any questions
concerning this issue.
