Habitat final report To: Members of the Northampton CPA Committee c/o Sarah LaValley From: Megan McDonough, Executive Director Re: Report on completion of home construction on Garfield Avenue Date: February 5, 2015 Dear Sarah and Committee Members, I am pleased to inform you that we have completed construction at Garfield Ave. Five homes were built and sold to low-income families in partnership with the students at Smith Vocational High School and community volunteers. Construction Update: st  1 home (#6 Garfield Avenue): This 3-bedroom home was completed in June 2010. nd  2 home (#4 Garfield Avenue): This 4-bedroom home was completed in the summer of 2011. #6 and #4 Garfield Avenue are a zero lot-line structure. rd  3 home: (#2 Garfield Avenue): This 3-bedroom home was completed in the summer of 2013. th  4 Home(#3 Garfield Avenue): This 4-bedroom home was completed in the summer of 2014. th  5 Home (#5 Garfield Avenue): This 3-bedroom home was completed in December 2014 and sold to the homeowners in January 2015 On behalf of the staff, board of directors and volunteers, we thank you for your tremendous support for this project. Your commitment to affordable housing and economic diversity within our community has helped 5 families fulfill the dream of homeownership and build a better future for themselves and their families.
