The Agricultural Commission plans to seek CPA funding for creation and installation of “right to farm” signage near farms in residential areas of the city. This in support of the City’s right-to-farm policy and to help send the message that farming has been an integral part of our history for hundreds of years and that the city embraces standard farm practices. The policy was enacted to protect farmers from conflicts that sometimes arise between agriculture and other nearby uses.
