Project Summary: Please provide a brief description of the project.
The Agricultural Commission plans to seek CPA funding for creation and installation of
“right to farm” signage near farms in residential areas of the city. This in support of the
City’s right-to-farm policy and to help send the message that farming has been an
integral part of our history for hundreds of years and that the city embraces standard
farm practices. The policy was enacted to protect farmers from conflicts that sometimes
arise between agriculture and other nearby uses.
