Response to Question 9 of Special Permit and Site Plan Application
• The Residence is used primarily as a dwelling for my wife and myself. The granting of
a home occupation permit would enable one room to be set up as an in-home office.
• The home occupation would be a computer consulting practice which will be set up as
a sole Proprietorship with no employees by the owner of the residence.
• The home occupation would not involve occupying more than 20% of the residence.
• If a sign is used, it will be limited to one square foot in area and would be located by the
entryway for the home occupation. It would be limited to one sign. It is not anticipated
that a sign will be used. Instead the name of the home occupation will be added to the
list of names by the mail basket for postal deliveries.
• Goods will not be sold from the residence.
• Due to the nature of the home occupation, it is not anticipated that clients will be visiting
the residence. If it becomes necessary for them to do so, it would be between the hours
of Sam to 6pm.
• Deliveries are expected to be minimal and would occur during the regular operating hours
of the US Mail, UPS, and Federal Express.
• The home occupation will not produce noise, obnoxious odors, vibrations, glare, fumes
or electrical interference which would be detectable to normal sensory perception beyond
the lot line.
