RE: Variance Application -- Roland J. Thibodeau
The applicant would like to withdraw application for variance for
parcel at 88 Maple Ridge Road, Northampton for construction of a
new .two-story colonial home, structure will include a utility
apartment over an attached 3-car garage. Apartment for use by
Mother-in-law which was submitted to your office today.
The applicant does not qualify to apply for a variance because
construction is new. The applicant will wait to find out the
outcome of the proposed zoning change on accessory apartments which
will be coming before the Planning Board and the Ordinance
Committee on December 10, 1992 for review and then to be voted on
by the City Council in January.
If the proposed zoning change does not pass through City Council,
then the applicant will re-apply for a Special Permit application
for an accessory apartment after construction of the new home is
complete.
