The repair and or replacement of windows shall be done in such a manner as to retain the present architectural design of the windows. 4 . A monument shall be allowed and maintained on the real estate near the building which identifies the building as the west Farms Chapel and the date of construction. 5 . Refore anv alteration may be made to the premises in violation of the foregoing restrictions, the owners must submit a written request to the Northampton historical Commission. Approval will not be unreasonably withheld. 6 . The burden of these restrictions shall run with the land and shall be binding on all future oaaners of an interest therein. The right of enforcement shall be as provided for in Massachusetts General Laws, charter 184 , Section 32 as enacted by the Acts of 1969 , chapter 666 , Section 5 , as it may be amended from time to time. 7 . Upon receipt of the authorized signature of the Passachusetts historical Commission, these restrictions shall be recorded in the Hampshire County Registry of Deeds of Northampton, Massachusetts. The preservation restrictions hereinafter set forth are to ensure the architectural and historical integrity of the WEST FARMS CHAPEL located on Tlest Farms Poad, Northampton, rassachusetts . The grantor hereby agrees for themselves, their grantees, heirs, divisees, legal representatives, successors and assigns that the above described ,remises shall be subject to the following preservation restrictions: PRESERVATION RESTRICTIONS 1 . The architectural integrity of the building presently located on the property shall not be altered or changed. 2 . The facade of the property shall be maintained in its present architectural design. However, if the owner wishes to remove the Cupola, the owner shall be allowed to do so and such removal shall not be considered to be a violation of these restrictions.
