Chief Driscoll, and me at the honnn\eae shelter on Hux'|cy Street.
I have several conccrna, which are hx\cd below.
l. Lack of proper fire acpuruliun from the occupancy located beneath the shelter.
This includes substandard wu||a, ceilings, doors, and |loor/vvuU penetrations.
2. Lurk of fire oxdnauiaho/a.
3. ]bix recommended that the existing smoke detection be upgraded with
additional detectors and by connecting the detectors to the existing security
monitoring system.
4. An emergency plan should be developed by shelter management and approved
by the fire dcpm1nocni All xho|&x staff should be trained in all aspects of the
plan, possibly by the fire dcpuUnncnL
