The plans for the Single Family
Residence dated 2-13-2013 have been approved as noted;
Structure must conform to 780 CMR 8th Edition 1 and 2 family building codes with MA amendments.
Energy aspects must comply the
stretch energy code. (appendix 115AA)
All sill plates must be properly attached with a minimum of two bolts per section.
A complete window and header schedule is required.
Initial and
final HERS ratings, duct blast test results.
Smoke and CO detectors as required per code.
All framing materials which are not code prescriptive must have engineering.
LVLs
I-joist and
or Floor Truss
Roof truss
HVAC system requires a sheet metal permit.
Equipment data with sizing and efficiencies
Line drawing with CFM amounts for supplies and returns
These items must
be submitted to the building department for approvals before a rough inspection can occur.
