Thank you for your confidence in Wright Builders and for the opportunity to work
together and be of assistance.
The Scope of the Project: The scope of the work is as outlined below.

Renovations including removal of siding and original siding beneath,reinstallation with
class I cellulose,replace exterior trim,new house wrap,new triple glazed R-5 vinyl
windows in existing openings except bedroom window enlarged to code. Existing porch
roof remains unchanged.
Add class I cellulose to attic to r-50,as practical,insulated hatch,baffles as needed.Add
R-6.6 Zip sheathing to exterior prior to re-siding, subject to confirmation of roof
coverage.
Install new Boral composition trim and Hardie clapboard siding. New entry doors all
locations, including sliding door at rear. Locate new glazed entry door at living room
alcove, and similar from bedroom.
Insulate basement perimeter band joist only with 2"closed cell foam and intumescent
coating for flame spread. Insulate crawl space perimeter walls completely to same
standard. Install 8 mill vapor barrier at crawl space. Enclose basement plumbing at
garage ceiling with framing and insulation with access hatch.
Renovate %2 baths into 3/4,with relocated fixtures and new tiled 42"shower, flooring and
related work.Remove peninsula overhead cabinets. Renovate main hall bath with tub
and tile surround to ceiling,new toilet,flooring,partition layout, cabinet's counters and
related work.
All painter's work by owner's subcontractor.

11. - Home Owner Exemption
The current exemption for"homeowners"was extended to include Owner-occupied Dwellings of one(1) or two(2)families
and to allow such homeowner to engage an individual for hire who does not possess a license,provided that the owner acts
as supervisor.CMR 780, Sixth Edition Section 108.3.5.1.
Definition of Homeowner:Person(s)who own a parcel of land on which he/she resides or intends to reside,on which there
is,or is intended to be,a one or two family dwelling,attached or detached structures accessory to such use and/or farm
structures.A person who constructs more than one home in a two-year period shall not be considered a homeowner.
Such"homeowner"shall submit to the Building Official,on a form acceptable to the Building Official,that he/she shall be
responsible for all such work performed under the building permit.
As acting Construction Supervisor your presence on the job site will be required from time to time,during and upon
completion of the work for which this permit is issued.
Also be advised that with reference to Chapter 152(Workers'Compensation) and Chapter 153(Liability of Employers to
Employees for injuries not resulting in Death)of the Massachusetts General Laws Annotated,you may be liable for person(s)
you hire to perform work for you under this permit.
