and detail for garden timber edging on Drawing L-4.
3. Drawings L-1, L-2, L-3, L-4. Omit benches and bench detail
on Drawing L-4, and references to benches in Section 2H of
specifications.
4. Specifications, Section B Plumbing, Page 15B-:13:
Hot Water Heater, add at end of first paragraph: " . . . , or
equal by Burkay" .

Item 1.
Add power wiring to .cabinet heaters and unit ventilator shown
on drawings H-i thru H-6 as described below.
From panel OP1 connect circuit #29 to:
1) First floor unit ventilator in community room 108.
2) Cabinet heater in first floor west vestibule between
rooms 105 and 108.
3) Cabinet heater in second floor stair well on NW corner.
From panel OP1 connect circuit #31 to:
1) Cabinet heater in first floor elevator lobby.
2) Cabinet heater in first floor main entrance vestibule.
3) Cabinet heater in second floor elevator lobby.
4) Cabinet heater in second floor stair well SW corner.
5) Cabinet heater in third floor elevator lobby.
6) Cabinet heater in fourth floor elevator lobby.
NOTE - relocate receptacles shown in elevator lobbies to
avoid conflict with cabinet heaters.
From panel OP1 connect circuit #33 to:
1) Cabinet heater in first floor stairwell SE corner.
2) Cabinet heater in first floor vestibule SE corner.
3) Cabinet heater in first floor stairwell NE corner.
4) Cabinet heater in first floor vestibule NE corner.
Thermostat wirina will be by temperature control contractor under
Section 15B of the specifications.

ADDENDUM #3
Purpose of this addendum is to explain the change in manner of
insulating inside face of all existing walls. Generally, the
change involves omitting the R-13 batt insulation and metal studs
as detailed and substituting 2 x 3" wood studs spaced 24" o.c. over
the existing wall with R-19 or better high R type rigid insulating
sheathing between the studs.
Item 1.
Section 7D - Thermal Insulation.
Page 7D-2, MATERIALS. Add the following:
Insulation at Exterior Walls (Inside face of Existing Building) :
Foil faced high R value glass fiber reinforced polyisocyanurate
foam plastic core. R value: 19 or better.
Products: Thermax by Celotex or equal by Owens Corning.
Item 2.
Section 9A - Gypsum Drywall
Page 9A-4. Omit reference to Z-furring members.
Page, 9A-9. Omit reference to Z-furring members.
Item 3.
Exterior walls of existing building to be insulated in accordance

Ratings of Partitions
All party walls between living units and between units
and public spaces or corridors are to be carried to
the underside of deck above, with 5/8" fire rated
drywall on both sides of partitions.
All stud bearing walls are also to be covered with
5/8" fire rated drywall both sides above ceilings.

located off of . the 10' right of way. Review with
Landscape Architect in field.
