Order of Business: Stormwater Management Discussion. Doug McDonald, Stormwater Coordinator, DPW, discussed the City’s stormwater permitting process with the Commission. The Commission discussed ways to customize the process to include wetlands resources. The Commission noted that if in the future DPW brings forth an ordinance before City Council the Commission would like to be joint partners in the process so as to further protect wetland resources. Request for Certificate of Compliance, Henry Culver & Northampton Office of Planning and Development. Haydenville Road (Beaver Brook/Broad Brook Conservation Area), Parcel ID 06-13, DEP File 246-592. Sarah visited the site and noted that the two buildings have been removed and all accessible trash has been cleaned up. Upon motion by Mason and second by Downey the Commission voted all in favor to issue a Certificate of Compliance and to waive Condition #31. Request for Support Letter: CT River Greenway Trail CPA Application. Upon motion by Cynthia and second by Downey the Commission voted all in favor to authorize the Chair to sign a letter of support of the design that would have the least impact to the wetlands and further noted that the applicant will need to abide by state and local constraints.
