Date of Visit: Wednesday, 3/15/2012, 1:00 pm.
Weather: Sunny, 45 deg.
Present: JD Ross of JDR Builders, Mark Gelotte, Architect
Mark Gelotte met with JD Ross at the site and discussed the work completed to date. Rough framing of all
floors mostly complete. Windows are installed. Exterior sheathing "zip" system taped at seams, windows
taped and flashed. Step flashing at sidewall and third floor roof not yet complete. New pier and 6x6
column was not yet installed on side of porch closest to interior stair. MG and JDR discussed 5/8"
fireresistant sheetrock installation required for finish. In general, all other work appeared to be in
accordance with the construction documents.

Date of Visit: Friday, 6/8/2012, 9:45 am.
Weather: Sunny, 70 deg.
Present: JD Ross of JDR Builders, Mark Gelotte, Architect, Chuck Miller Northampton Bldg Dept.
Mark Gelotte met with JD Ross and Chuck Miller at the site and viewed the work completed to date. The
renovations were completed. New specified 6x6 column was installed adjacent to porch. Contractor
described pouring of concrete footing and pier as per const. drawings. Siding was installed and two wood
columns at first floor level were finished with a stucco coat over cement board backer as per const
drawings. Interior of 2nd and 3 level spaces were finished with sheetrock and painted. Contractor stated
that all finish was done with 5/8" fire resistant sheetrock as per const. drawings including exterior
underside of 2 level floor and wraping of LVL beam. In general, all other work appeared to be in
accordance with the construction documents.
