RE: Closeout CPA Conservation Fund 5 grant (3100931-593126-11)
DATE: March 19, 2012
On behalf of the Conservation Commission, attached are:
1.A revised report for Conservation Fund #4 (reflecting a $75 balance found after the initial
grant close out).
2.The final report for the Conservation Fund #5 CPA grant.
3.A status report for the Conservation Fund #6 CPA grant. We expect to close out this grant
this coming June, after which we will have no CPA open space funding.
CPA funding for open space preservation has allowed the City to be fabulously successful in our
Open Space preservation efforts. This year, for example, we are projecting that we will
permanently preserve almost 300 acres, twice our historical average. (This does not even include
the Broad Brook Gap parcel, for which we have requested CPA Funds.)
