Re: Zoom Auto, Sign Permit Narrative
Following is a narrative, describing the office, signage and parking plans for Zoom Auto
Sales on North King Street.
Currently, 245 N. King Street is the location of Cottman Transmission and a two
bedroom ranch style home. The northern end of the home has a separate entrance to a
space that measures 7' wide and 18' in length. The space currently used as storage for
Cottman Transmission is planned to become the sales office for Zoom Auto Sales.
The Zoom Auto Sales sign measuring 24" x 36" will be located on the west facing side of
the structure to the right of the door currently used to access the storage area. Adjacent to
the Zoom Auto Sales office door is space allocated for resident parking and access to the
home.
Sale vehicles will be displayed along the curb adjacent to N. King St. (RT 5). Space for
three (3) sale vehicles is planned. Four (4) parking spaces along the southern end of the
paved area will be used to display additional sale vehicles and provide space for customer
parking. Attached is a copy of the southern end of the site plan highlighting the parking
as described.
Vehicles being sold by Zoom Auto Sales will be serviced and repaired at Cottman
Transmission, located at 245 N. King Street. Both Cottman Transmission and Zoom Auto
sales are separate entities owned and operated by John Hunter and Hunter Dev. Group,
Inc.
