We have closed on this property (9/1/2009, Book 9953, Page 187) and added it to the Saw Mill Hills Conservation. The property includes some ledges that are valuable both esthetically and provide valuable bird nesting sites. The property funding was as follows: CPA Grant to purchase 13 acres $13,000 CPA Conservation fund to purchase 5 acres added to additional purchase $ 5,000 CPA Conservation Fund for soft costs (survey and registry of deeds) $ 4,195 View from the east. Property only includes hill NOT flat area or pond.
