Code Analysis, Corridor doors at 90 Pomeroy Terrace, Northampton
Based on IEBC 2009, Section 705.5.1 and 705.4.3, doors into the corridors of 90 Pomeroy Terrace shall
all be solid bonded wood core doors, minimum 1 -3/4" thick, with an approved self- closing device. 1-
3/8" thick doors of the same construction may be used if the existing door frames will not accommodate
the 1 -3/4" thick door.
To meet the requirements of this section, the door to Unit 5 will be installed as a condition of Occupancy
for Unit 5, the door to Units 1 and 3 will be installed next, and the doors to units 2 and 4, and the door
leading to the lower level, will be. installed last.
