The plans for the Single Family Residential addition dated 3-7&9-11 have been approved as noted;
Structure conforms to 780 CMR 7th addition 1 and 2 family building codes.
Energy aspects must comply with 2009 IECC prescriptive and mandatory requirements or an appropriate HERS rating. Northampton has the stretch energy code. (appendix 120AA)
Deck ledgers must be bolted through the foundation.
Must be a smoke and CO within 10’ of bedrooms. Must be a smoke and CO between the master bedroom and bedroom #4
No engineering on garage door headers if LVL, 2nd fl plan missing info for beam FB12, others designation mixed up, differences between drawn plan and engineering sheet A9.
3” minimum tread on winder stairs.
Manufactures requirements must be followed for all intake and exhaust locations (separation distances).
